Elections Nova Scotia – Voting counting will continue at midnight. The Chief Electoral Officer, Richard Temporale had previously indicated he may need to end the vote count at midnight. The count is proceeding, and unofficial results should be complete in most districts at a reasonable time. Elections Nova Scotia continues to review electoral districts with outstanding polls and will communicate soon on what districts will be able to complete their vote count tonight.

Elections Nova Scotia – Today, Tuesday, August 17, 2201, is election day in Nova Scotia.
The ‘where do I vote’ tool on Elections Nova Scotia’s website had incorrect voting location information for the following polling divisions for the following electoral districts:
ED05 – Bedford South, polling division 009 - The correct location is Diman Lebanese Centre, 345 Kearney Lake Rd, Bedford.

Elections Nova Scotia – COVID precautions are in place at all returning offices and voting locations to ensure voter safety on election day.
Voters are asked to wear a mask, sanitize their hands, maintain physical distance and bring their own pen. The pen is for any paperwork a voter may need to complete to register or update their information. Voters will be given an individual pencil to mark their ballot.

To be eligible to vote in this provincial election voters must be 18 years of age, a Canadian citizen, and have lived in Nova Scotia since January 17, 2021.

Elections Nova Scotia – Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 17, 2201, is election day in Nova Scotia. All election day polls and returning offices in the 55 electoral districts will be open for voting from 8 am – 8 pm.
Eligible voters must be 18 years of age, a Canadian citizen, and have lived in Nova Scotia since January 17, 2021.
Tomorrow, voters must vote at their assigned voting location or the returning office in their electoral district.
