Elections Nova Scotia – Voters who have applied to vote by write-in ballot are reminded to return their completed ballot. To count in the election, all completed write-in ballots must be received by 8 pm on August 17. Voters are asked to please allow adequate time so their completed write-in ballot can be returned.

Elections Nova Scotia – There are extended hours for early voting until 8 pm for the next two days, Thursday August 12th and Friday August 13th. All returning offices and early voting locations (community polls and advance polls) are open today and tomorrow from 9 am – 8 pm.
COVID precautions are in place at all voting locations. Voters are asked to wear a mask, sanitize their hands, maintain physical distance, and bring their own pen for paperwork.

During the early voting period (until 6 pm on Saturday, August 14), voters can vote anywhere in Nova Scotia, not just in their electoral district. Community polls, advance polls, and returning offices are open across the province for early voting.

Elections Nova Scotia – There is just one week remaining in the 41st provincial general election. Election day is Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Voters are encouraged to vote safely and take advantage of early voting options available at a returning offices, community polls, and advance polls, or apply to vote by write-in ballot.
As of 6 pm on Monday, August 9, 75,367 voters in Nova Scotia have casting their vote early.
