Emergency Closure Due to Flooding

Elections Nova Scotia – An early voting location at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 128 at 836 Victoria Road in Sydney, in electoral district 6 Cape Breton Centre, has closed due to flooding today, Saturday November 23, 2024.
This closure is necessary to ensure the safety of voters because the building is flooding.
Signage has been posted at the closed community poll to redirect voters to the returning office for Cape Breton Centre, which is located at the Collier Land Park building, 3696 Ellsworth Avenue in New Waterford.
Voters in Nova Scotia that have questions about the provincial general election can call 1-800-565-1504.
