Elections Nova Scotia – Elections Nova Scotia (ENS) has awarded a contract through the Nova Scotia tender process to Scytl Canada Inc. (Scytl) to develop an internet voting solution.
In September 2022, ENS issued an RFP inviting qualified firms to submit proposals that include all related software services, IT infrastructure and hosting services, as well as training, support, and the full management of a highly secure internet voting solution. Scytl, was the successful vender in the bidding process.
“We are pleased to be moving forward with the development of this innovative voting method,” says Dorothy Rice, Chief Electoral Officer. “We plan to take a careful measured approach and are confident in Scytl’s ability to develop a safe and secure internet voting solution.”
