Early Voting Daily Statistics – As of Friday, July 30, 2021

Media Release: Saturday, July 31, 2021

Elections Nova Scotia – During the early voting period, Elections Nova Scotia (ENS) will provide daily statistics for the 41st provincial general election (please note, no stats released on Sundays).

The stats reflect early voting numbers as of the close of polls (6 pm) the previous day. The stats include the number of write-in ballot applications processed and the number of votes cast at early voting opportunities including the returning office continuous polls, as well as community polls and advanced polls when they open. These numbers add to make the total number of early votes cast as of that date in the 41st provincial general election.

The daily early voting stats are for the 55 electoral districts recommended by the Electoral Boundaries Commission in 2019 and in effect for the 41st provincial general election.

ENS will also provide a comparison of these daily stats with the early voting stats from the 2017 provincial general election. Please note the results for the 2017 provincial general election reflect the 51 electoral districts as defined in 2012. A transposition of votes report illustrating how the votes from the 2017 provincial general election fit with the new 2019 electoral boundaries is available on the Elections Nova Scotia website.
