Elections Nova Scotia – Voters in Nova Scotia are reminded that there are extended hours for early voting in the provincial general election until 8 pm today, Friday, November 22, 2024. All early voting locations are open today from 9 am – 8 pm.
Tomorrow, Saturday, November 23, 2024 is the last day for voters in Nova Scotia to voter at any early voting location in the province. It is also the last day for voting at community poll and advance poll locations.
Early voting continues Monday November 25, voters can vote at the returning office in their electoral district.
Voters in Nova Scotia should remember to bring their ID when they go to vote but it is not necessary. Eligible voters can register when they vote and take an oath to attest to their eligibility if they do not have current ID.
Voters in Nova Scotia who applied to vote by write-in ballot are reminded to return their completed ballot to be counted by 8 pm on election day, Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Voters can return their completed write-in ballot in-person to their returning office, have an agent return it on their behalf, or arrange for a write-in ballot team to pick it up at their home.
