Media Release: Friday, July 30, 2021

Elections Nova Scotia – Early voting will be open on Monday, August 2 from 9 am – 6 pm. Voters can cast their ballot on the civic holiday at any returning office or early voting locations in the province.

Remember, community polls open across the province tomorrow, Saturday, July 31, and run until Saturday August 14.

Advance polls will begin on Saturday, August 7 and run until Saturday August 14.

Voting is closed on Sundays.

There will be extended hours until 8 pm on Thursday, August 12 and Friday, August 13 for early voting at all returning offices and early voting locations.

During the early voting period (until Saturday, August 14), voters can vote anywhere in Nova Scotia, not just in their electoral district. Voters can still vote early on Monday, August 16, at the returning office in their electoral district.

On election day, Tuesday, August 17, voters may vote at their assigned voting location or the returning office in their electoral district. Voting will be open from 8 am – 8 pm on election day.
