Elections Nova Scotia – All returning offices for the provincial general election to be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021 are open today for early voting.

Returning Office Hours:
Monday to Saturday open 9 am – 6 pm
Closed on Sundays
Thursday, August 12 and Friday, August 13, open 9 am – 8 pm
Election day (Tuesday, August 17, 2021) open 8 am to 8 pm

Voters can visit Nova Scotia’s website at www.electionsnovascotia.ca to find the location of the returning office in their electoral district.

Strict COVID-19 protocols will be in place at all voting locations and voters can also choose to apply to vote by mail using a write-in ballot.

Before election day, voters can vote safely in-person at any returning office or early voting location in the province. On election day, voters must vote at their assigned voting location or the returning office in their district.

The application for a write-in ballot is available on-line at electionsnovascotia.ca. Voters can call their returning office if they have questions or need assistance with the write-in ballot process.
