Elections Nova Scotia – Election day polls in Cape Breton Centre and Truro-Bible Hill-Millbrook-Salmon River are open from 8 am – 8 pm today, Tuesday, March 10, 2020.

To be eligible to vote in these by-elections voters must be 18 years of age on March 10, a Canadian citizen, have lived in Nova Scotia since August 6, 2019, and reside in Cape Breton Centre or Truro-Bible Hill-Millbrook-Salmon River.

Elections Nova Scotia reminds voters in Cape Breton Centre and Truro-Bible Hill-Millbrook-Salmon River that on election day they must vote at their designated poll location or at the returning office in their district.

Most voters in Cape Breton Centre and Truro-Bible Hill-Millbrook-Salmon River received a voter information card (VIC) in the mail. The VIC includes a voter’s assigned poll location information. Voters are asked to bring their VIC and ID for faster service.

Eligible voters in Cape Breton Centre and Truro-Bible Hill-Millbrook-Salmon River can vote without a VIC if they have ID with their name and civic address or if they sign a declaration attesting to their eligibility.
