Plebiscites to be held in Colchester and Annapolis Counties May 8, 2018

On Tuesday, May 8, 2018, plebiscites will be held in areas two Nova Scotia counties, pursuant to a request received by the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation from each Municipality.

A plebiscite will be held in the County of Annapolis in Districts 3 and 4, and a plebiscite will also be conducted in the Municipality of the County of Colchester in District 8.

 

In each plebiscite, voters 19 years old and older as of May 8, will select Yes or No to the question, “Are you in favour of the sale of liquor in your municipality in accordance with the Liquor Control Act?”

Information about these plebiscites is available online at electionsnovascotia.ca and results will be released on the website following the vote May 8th, 2018.
