Financial reporting deadlines for candidates, registered parties and third parties.

Elections Nova Scotia reminds candidates, registered parties and third parties that financial reporting deadlines are approaching in the weeks and months ahead, as required by the Elections Act following an election.

Candidates have the earliest reporting deadline, with tax receipts due 30 days after election day, or June 29th, 2017. Candidate financial reports are due 80 days after election day, or August 28, 2017.

Registered party financial reports are due 120 days after the return of the writ or October 10, 2017.

Third parties have four months after election day to file their financial reports or October 2nd, 2017.
