Tomorrow is Election Day in Nova Scotia

Elections Nova Scotia – Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 26, 2024, is election day in Nova Scotia. All election day polls and returning offices will be open for voting from 8 am – 8 pm.

Eligible voters in the Provincial General Election must be 18 years of age, a Canadian citizen, and have lived in Nova Scotia since April 27, 2024.

Tomorrow, voters in Nova Scotia must vote at their assigned voting location or the returning office in their electoral district. Nova Scotia voters can find their assigned election day voting location and returning office information by using the ‘where do I vote?” tool on the Elections Nova Scotia website at electionsnovascotia.ca, or by calling the public call centre at 1-800-565-1504.

Voters in Nova Scotia can bring their ID, but it is not necessary. Voters without current ID can take an oath to attest to their eligibility and vote. Eligible voters in Nova Scotia can be added to the list of electors when they vote.

Voters in Nova Scotia are reminded that the deadline to apply in person or by agent for a write-in ballot is 3 pm on election day. All completed write-in ballots must be returned by 8 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 to be counted.
