Advance Polls for the Provincial General Election Begin Tomorrow

Elections Nova Scotia – Advance polls for the provincial general election will open tomorrow, Saturday, November 16. Advance polls will run from Saturday, November 16 to Saturday, November 23. This means more early voting locations available to voters in Nova Scotia.

Early voting is available at all early voting locations from 9 am – 6 pm Monday to Saturday. There will be extended hours until 8 pm on Thursday, November 21 and Friday, November 22, 2024. Early voting is closed on Sundays.

Vote early, vote anywhere! Voters in Nova Scotia can cast their ballot early at any early voting location in any electoral district the province until Saturday November 23.

On Monday, November 25, voters can vote at the returning office in their electoral district. On election day, Tuesday, November 26,2024, voters may vote at their assigned voting location or the returning office in their electoral district.

Voters can easily find an early voting location near them or their election day voting location by calling their returning office, calling the public call centre at 1-800-565-1504, or entering their civic address in the ‘where do I vote’ tool on Elections Nova Scotia’s website (electionsnovascotia.ca).

Early voting is done by e-Ballot on a secure tablet at a voting location. Election day voting will be done by traditional paper ballots.
