Elections Nova Scotia

What is a VIC?

What is a VIC?

If your name is on the List of Electors, you should receive a voter information card (VIC) in the mail. Your VIC includes options for voting before election day as well as where and when to vote on election day. Take your VIC with you when you go to vote, for faster service.

If you received a VIC addressed to someone else, or there are errors on the VIC, bring it with you so that we can correct the information in our list of electors.

No VIC? Eligible electors can still vote without a VIC. Just bring some identification with you proving your legal name and civic address (the place where you live) when you go to vote.
