Elections Nova Scotia – A judicial recount of all ballots cast in the provincial election for the electoral district of Glace Bay-Dominion, was held on Monday, August 30, 2021, at the Sydney Justice Centre. The results of the recount are as follows:
John John McCarthy, Liberal – 2,479
John Morgan, NDP – 2,725
John White, PC Party – 2,754

Elections Nova Scotia – A Supreme Court of Nova Scotia order has been issued by Justice Jamie S. Campbell for a recount of all ballots cast in the provincial election for the electoral district of Glace Bay-Dominion, held on August 17, 2021.
The recount will take place at the Sydney Justice Centre at 9:30 am starting on Monday, August 30th.
The application for the judicial recount was made by John Morgan, NDP candidate.

Elections Nova Scotia – Elections Nova Scotia reminds candidates, registered political parties and third party advertisers from the provincial general election held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 all have reports due in the weeks and months ahead. All reports are to be sent the Chief Electoral Officer.
Candidate tax receipts are due 30 days after election day, September 16, 2021.

Elections Nova Scotia – Official additions for the 41 provincial general election will begin at 10:00 today, Thursday, August 19, 2021, in all 55 returning offices.
The deadline for application to a judge for a recount is four days after the official addition, Monday, August 23, 2021.
Elections Nova Scotia is a non-partisan and independent agency responsible for conducting provincial elections.

Atlantica:0 electoral districts
Green Party:0 electoral districts
Liberal:17 electoral districts
NDP:6 electoral districts
PC Party: 31 electoral districts

Elections Nova Scotia – The vote counts in the following 6 electoral districts were suspended on election night due to an outstanding volume of votes and limited staffing.
Two of the districts posted unofficial results this morning – Argyle and Halifax Atlantic.

Elections Nova Scotia – Voting counting will continue at midnight. The Chief Electoral Officer, Richard Temporale had previously indicated he may need to end the vote count at midnight. The count is proceeding, and unofficial results should be complete in most districts at a reasonable time. Elections Nova Scotia continues to review electoral districts with outstanding polls and will communicate soon on what districts will be able to complete their vote count tonight.
