Municipality of the County of Cumberland Plebiscite Results
On Tuesday, July 26, 2016, a plebiscite was held in the Municipal District of 2-1 in the Municipality of the County of Cumberland pursuant to a request that has been by the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation. The plebiscite was conducted under the direction of Shelley Trenholm, Returning Officer.
The results of the plebiscite is as follows:
On the question, “Are you in favour of the sale of liquor in your municipality in accordance with the Liquor Control Act?”, electors voted 40 Yes and 7 No.
